After months of anticipation, I’ve finally got my hands on the all-new FUYL 600 disposable vape, and I’m here to share my thoughts after trying it out for myself.

If you’ve never heard of FUYL, you’re in for a treat. This new disposable vape is the latest brainchild of award-winning e-liquid brand, Dinner Lady. Best known for their wacky and wonderful flavours, Dinner Lady has taken their expertise for exquisite blends and combined it with cutting-edge technology to create a whole new brand in its own right— FUYL.

Within just a couple of months of its initial release, the FUYL 600 is already causing quite a stir within the disposable vape scene and is flying off the shelves up and down the country. But what’s making this nifty disposable an instant bestseller? Well, that’s what I’m here to find out.

In this review, I’m going to put the FUYL 600 disposable vape to the test, weighing up its performance, design and flavour selection to see if it has what it takes to stand up to its competitors in the very crowded disposable vape sector. So without further ado, let’s begin!

FUYL 600 Features

As expected, the FUYL disposable was ready to use right out of the box. So, after removing the device from its colourful packaging and plastic wallet and pulling back the airflow stopper, I was all set to begin vaping. In short, the FUYL met all of my expectations; the 500mAh battery capacity teamed with the 2ml e-liquid content ensured a full day of use, living up to the 600 puffs that were promised on the packaging.

The 1.2Ohm mesh coil housed inside allowed for a silky smooth draw that was a little on the airy side, which I personally enjoyed, as the vapour flowed effortlessly with very little suction. If I had to find one very small bone to pick with this FUYL vape, it would be that the inhale was slightly on the louder side. However, this is often the case when using disposables with a less restricted draw, and thankfully, this minor detail did little to detract from the overall positive experience.

Moving on from the key features, let’s take a look at the design of FUYL 600 disposables.

FUYL 600 Ergonomics & Design

Now, it’s time to talk about my favourite part, and the aspect of the FUYL 600 that in my opinion, makes the biggest impact— its design. Without a hint of exaggeration, this FUYL disposable is by far the most stylish vape starter kit I’ve ever set eyes on! When using it out and about, there was no shortage of questions from friends; what is that? Where did you get it? - And I wasn’t surprised, as the FUYL 600 looks unlike any other disposable vape on the market.

Sporting a transparent plastic shell that illuminates brilliantly upon inhale and a crystal-cut matchbox shape that’s as compact as it is eye-catching, it’s hard to downplay just how unique this FUYL vape really is. And surprisingly, despite its large battery capacity and intricate shape, the device itself felt incredibly lightweight and comfortable in my hand.

Now that we’ve covered how it looks, let’s explore the flavours available.

FUYL 600 Flavours

As I mentioned earlier, Dinner Lady is a brand that’s best known for their great flavour blends, so I was expecting big things from the FUYL disposable vapes range— and I wasn’t disappointed. These FUYL vapes are available in 14 different flavour profiles, with the inclusion of some popular Dinner Lady blends we’ve seen before in their e-liquid collections, such as the award-winning Lemon Tart.

After sampling these flavours myself, there were some standout favourites. The Spearmint Menthol and Vanilla Tobacco varieties were a solid 10/10, which was surprising as I’m usually not a fan of more “simple” blends, but the flavour was incredibly potent and satisfied my sweet tooth without tasting too overpowering. But even if you prefer more fruity profiles, you won’t be disappointed. They’ve crammed in plenty of exciting blends too such as Cherry Cotton and Blood Orange Pineapple which were equally as delicious.

Moving on from flavour profiles, let’s find out more about the other Dinner Lady products available.

FUYL Disposable Vape Ranges

Although the FUYL 600 is currently the only FUYL disposable vape product on the market at the moment, its parent brand Dinner Lady has been on the scene for quite a while and has released a whole host of devices over the years, from the Dinner Lady Vape Pen 2 to the Vape Pen Pro.

Although the Vape Pen 2 has been a fan favourite since its release, with its ultra-slim frame and shiny metallic exterior, it’s clear to see that the FUYL 600 disposable vape is on a whole other playing field. While the Vape Pen 2 houses a modest 300mAh battery, the FUYL vape boasts an increased 500mAh battery capacity, which can provide up to 600 puffs— a huge improvement compared to the 400 puffs offered by the Vape Pen 2.

On the other hand, the Dinner Lady Vape Pen Pro boasts almost identical specifications as FUYL disposables, featuring the same large battery size and pod capacity. Nevertheless, I must admit that I still prefer the FUYL. Maybe it’s the slightly looser draw, or maybe it’s its unique appearance, either way, the FUYL 600 is undoubtedly my favourite Dinner Lady disposable vape to date.

Of course, if you’re a steadfast fan of slim, pen-style devices, you may want to stick with either the Vape Pen 2 or Vape Pen Pro. But if you’re looking to mix things up and try something new, I can’t recommend FUYL disposables enough.

FUYL 600 Market Comparison

As so many popular brands are reemerging with new additions to their disposable vape lineup recently, it makes sense to take a look at how FUYL 600 disposable vapes stack up when compared to the wider market.

Another vape brand that’s recently dropped a new disposable device is Elf Bar. Their new Elf Bar 600 V2 disposable vape is rapidly gaining traction, and it’s easy to see why. Although it looks almost identical to the original Elf Bar 600 device, the V2 is fitted with a QUAQ mesh coil. I was dubious about this new coil technology, but after trying it out for myself, I really enjoyed how it felt. The flavour was second to none and the QUAQ coil delivered an ultra-light and airy draw that was incredibly satisfying.

But Elf Bar isn’t the only disposable brand introducing upgrades, as Lost Mary has recently released the new and improved Lost Mary BM600S. Much like the V2, the BM600S has also harnessed the benefits of QUAQ mesh coil technology to provide a more enhanced vaping experience, making it a sound choice for those looking for a more flavourful and extended vaping experience.

I’ve tried out both the Lost Mary BM600S and Elf Bar V2 recently, and it surprises me that the FUYL 600 isn’t fitted with a QUAQ mesh coil, as the feel of the inhale and overall draw is astoundingly similar. The Lost Mary BM600S and FUYL disposable also share a familiar matchbox shape. So, if you’re struggling to choose between the two, I would recommend picking out which brand offers the right flavours to suit your palate.

FUYL 600 Verdict

After familiarising myself with the FUYL 600 disposable over the past few weeks, it’s safe to say that I’m nothing short of impressed. I try out a lot of disposable vapes, and with so many different devices out there, it’s easy to lose track as they can all become a little “samey.” But I’m pleased to announce that this wasn’t the case with FUYL.

From the second I removed it from the packaging I knew I was in for a treat— I’m a huge fan of matchbox-style vapes anyway, but the FUYL 600 had something special. The crystal-cut transparent exterior earns a solid 10/10 from me, as it adds a touch of luxury that makes it truly unlike any other disposable device out there and is instantly recognisable as a FUYL product.

But aesthetics aside, the overall experience didn’t disappoint either. As I mentioned earlier, the inhale was so silky smooth and airy that it could easily be mistaken for including a QUAQ mesh coil! I don’t know what Dinner Lady did to achieve this, but I hope to see more of it in future FUYL vapes.

All of this combined with the taste of Dinner Lady e-liquid flavours makes the FUYL disposable one of my all-time favourite disposable vapes— and I don’t say that lightly! The FUYL 600 has successfully etched its place as a standout in the disposable vape landscape; in a sea of disposable vapes that can sometimes blur into a uniform experience, the FUYL managed to stand out as something truly exceptional.
